In a day and age when truth and the love of principle have lost their resonance in the hearts and minds of many Americans and especially in the guardianship of our public offices, these living dramas remind us that adherence to principle and the sternest defense of that principle is our common heritage and striving.

In the face of imperilment of their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor, the Founding Fathers demonstrated that Principle is not just a cause or even a right cause. It is an Ideal - a fiery possession of the Spirit - eternal and permanent in it's nature and part of the continuum of a noble and free civilization...That is why our children must learn to love it and hold fast to it at all costs.
