June 17- June 26 (not including weekends), 10-4 pm
Participants must be 5 years and over. The one and a half week course for beginners provides an introduction to the Basics of Acting and Voice Dynamics. Mornings offer classes in Stage Geography, the Art of the Actor, Mime and Improvisation, and Singing. Afternoons will be devoted to the study of characterization and script interpretation, and rehearsal for As You Like It. The students will prepare at least two performance pieces each for recital presentation, and both beginners and repertory students will participate in As You Like It. Tuition: $165 plus $50 for 10 tickets.
